Welcome to The Japanese Clothing Co. We are a clothing store specializing in Japanese-inspired T-shirts, Sweatshirts and Hoodies for both men and women. We plan to add more lines to the store in the future, so watch this space!
The Japanese Clothing Co was founded in 2022 by two Japanophiles, who developed their love for all things Nihon after visits to the country itself in the last few years. We take our design inspiration from the wide variety of Japanese subcultures and traditions, from Harajuku to Manga, Anime and traditional Japanese arts such as Nihonga and Shodo.
Our mission is to bring the best of Japanese influences to our customers in the US, UK and Europe. We believe that Japanese fashion has something unique to offer that can’t be found anywhere else – from its vibrant colors and patterns to its intricate designs, Japanese design culture has something for everyone. Whether you’re looking for modern streetwear styles or something more traditional, we have it all.
We also strive to provide our customers with quality products at an affordable price. As a small company, all of our products are made to order to prevent wastage, and constructed with high-quality materials that are designed to last. Every product goes through a 3-stage quality assessment by a real human being prior to shipping, to ensure you receive it in perfect condition. See our returns policy in the rare event that you do receive a sub-standard item.

We hate fast fashion! We conduct durability testing on every new product before adding them to the store to ensure that they will withstand the test of time. We collaborate with suppliers who provide high-quality materials that withstand numerous washings while maintaining the vibrancy of the print and the fabric’s softness. We have a large number of products made from sustainable, recycled materials and we are working hard to make more of our products sustainable all the time.
